A warm welcome to all new Brownsville families! The Brownsville PTO has a Newcomer's Network that hopes to make your transition to Brownsville as easy as possible. We are a group of Brownsville families who want to be your greatest resource as you settle into our wonderful school and the beautiful county of Albemarle.
WHAT WE OFFER
The Newcomer’s Network reaches out to each new family joining Brownsville to extend a warm welcome. “Buddy Families” are assigned with the idea that each new student will see a friendly and familiar face at school. Buddy families share useful information about the Brownsville community. We can tell you about upcoming events, BASE (our after-school childcare program), volunteering, the PTO (parent-teacher organization), our terrific BEE program (Brownsville Elective Education) and much more!
Also, the PTO will be hosting a "Newcomer Picnic" at Mint Springs on Tuesday, August 16th, 2011 from 5:00 to 7:30 pm. Bring your entire family.
